Anderson Having Tough Time Deciding

Nearly a month ago, Tallahassee Wildcats shooting guard Rashad Anderson was on the verge of picking UConn. Now, he says he's down to a pair of schools, really likes one of them and is swaying back and forth on deciding.

Anderson Torn Between Florida and UConn

Shooting guard Rashad Anderson has a school in his mind. But, he's definitely not ready to decide and is wavering in his own mind about the choice. In a recent conversation, Anderson preferred to keep the school to himself.

"I got one [school] right now, but it keeps going back and forth," Anderson said. "It's the same old same old. I'm not ready to make it public yet."

Anderson is down to Florida and UConn. He visited UConn first and by all accounts, things went really well. But, that's where it gets a little dicey. Shortly after the Charlie Weber, Anderson was expected to announce for the Huskies. That day never came and instead of things becoming more clear, the waters got muddied.

Billy Donovan and the Florida Gators entered the picture. They made a pitch and he made a visit. Apparently, they made up a significant amount of ground in a hurry. He enjoyed the trip. "It was real good. I had lots of fun chilling with the players."

For advice Anderson is looking to those closest to him. "I'm talking with mom and dad a lot. They just want the best fit for me."

Anderson might announce his decision before the signing day, but if he does it'll be rather informal. We could be in line for a November decision. "Sometime between now and Nov. 5 or 6. I'm not going to have a press conference until I sign."
