Braddick Dismissed, Klaiber On The Way
It's been a long week for National Christian Academy head coach Trevor Brown. Two of his students made commitments. Guard Charlie Bell is headed to Loyola and big man Jabbar Young is off to West Virginia. But, that's not all of the action.
Brown dismissed talented small forward Dakin Braddick from the team and he's was also asked to leave the school. "He said he wants to go back to North Charleston (SC) High," Brown said. Braddick would not have any eligibility remaining, as he's a fifth-year player.
Swingman Donnell King is visited Sacred Heart this weekend.
One of the big pieces of news is that next week; small forward Gordon Klaiber will enroll at National Christian. Klaiber was one of the standouts at the Charlie Weber Invitational. He can make mid-range jumpers and is capable of stepping out to 3-point range.
You can expect Klaiber to receive recruiting attention from as high as the Atlantic-10. He'll probably be a spring decider and needs to get his academics in order, but should make it. His brother played at UConn.
