Bell Likely To Sign In Spring

David Bell is one of the top players on the Mount Zion roster this season. Bell is getting his academics together and will likely be a spring signee.

Waiting On A Test Score

Last season at Philadelphia (PA) Olney, small forward David Bell averaged 23 points a game. The numbers looked great but Bell is missing something. What he's missing is an SAT score. He's currently waiting for the results of his most recent effort.

However, even if he gets a test score during the early period, he'll likely wait until the spring to sign and for obvious reasons. "I don't even know who is recruiting me," Bell said. "I don't believe in college letters. If you are interested are interested in me then call me."

Right now, Miami-FL and LaSalle are calling him. He was supposed to visit Miami a few weeks ago but we don't think he made the trip. Regardless, it sounds like Bell needs some time to generate interest in him, find out who is really interested in him and then look towards a decision.

In July, Bell helped lead the Hunting Park Warriors to a surprise run at the adidas Big Time. The 6-6 swingman has a real good understanding of the game. He's a nice athlete who can shoot the ball well to medium-range. However, two of his biggest strengths come as a passer and defender. He loves to pass the rock and make plays.
