Swann Leads Hargrave Past UNC

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Isaiah Swann and Lorenzo Wade looked entirely comfortable in the spacious Dean Dome as Hargrave knocked off the North Carolina JV team Saturday afternoon.

The biggest game of the year for Hargrave is Monday, Jan. 19 against Laurinburg in Greensboro, N.C. On Saturday, Kevin Keatts bunch defeated a spirited North Carolina Junior Varsity team 97-79 in the team's final game before the big bout.

Point guard Isaiah Swann continued to build his resume for the McDonald's All-American game with as he shot 10-for-13 from the field to lead the team with 27 points. The native of Maryland didn't miss a 2-point field goal in the contest.

Swann's backcourt running mate, Lorenzo Wade, ran the floor and played well at both ends – especially in the first half – as he scored 21 points for the game. Wade's touch, which is now extending past the 3-point arc, should translate into a lot of points at Louisville.
