Two of the better point guards in Southern California still uncommitted are Carlos Rivers, 5-10 PG Long Beach (Calif.) Poly and Eugene "Pooh" Jeter, 5-8 PG Gardena (Calif.) Serra.
We spoke with both of them recently and learned that they're both considering Montana.
Jeter visited the Montana campus last weekend and said he had a good time. "The coaches are real nice. I went to the football game -- the fans are crazy, they have a lot of spirit. Some of them were telling me I should be a Grizzly."
Jeter said, though, that he plans on waiting until spring before making a decision. "I'd love to be close to home," Jeter said. "But it also might be good to get out and experience the world."
Rivers will visit Montana this weekend and is also considering Sacramento St. He said that he has no problems going away and will commit in the fall.
