Hansbrough Unable To Return From Visit

Recruiting is a pretty unpredictable science and in many ways it can be hard to forecast, just like the weather. Ask Tyler Hansbrough, one of the country's elite juniors, who got stranded in North Carolina on a visit this weekend.

It's a good thing Tyler Hansbrough enjoyed his visit to Chapel Hill last weekend because he's going to be there a while. The 6-9 Hansbrough was unable to fly out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport Sunday night due to icy conditions.

His visit with Roy Williams and North Carolina was his second unofficial trip since Jan. 1.

"I loved it. I liked it a lot," Hansbrough said Sunday night. "I liked the players and the coaches and the atmosphere."

Earlier in the month, Hansbrough visited Florida. Comparing schools is tough and right now he's having a hard time deciphering the trips. "They're about equal right now. They're both great schools. They have great players and great schools. It'll be a hard decision."

Hansbrough is certainly not ready to decide yet either. He's got an official visit to Missouri scheduled for the weekend of Feb. 14. He has family ties to the school and the Tigers are in the mix.

At this juncture, he's down to three programs: Florida, Missouri and North Carolina.
