Coby Leavitt, 6-8 JR PF St. George (Utah) Snow Canyon, is part of a very good group of players from the class of 2005 in Utah. Leavitt has good hands and feet, and he moves very well for a young big man. He has a chance to play at the mid to high major level.

We spoke with Leavitt recently and questioned him about the schools he's hearing from to date.

"Wyoming, Portland, Utah and Loyola Marymount have been showing interest," said Leavitt. "There are some others as well."

Unlike many of his peers, Leavitt isn't really focusing on the recruiting process just yet. "I don't really know what I want yet," said Leavitt. "I think I'd like to stay closer to home -- my family would prefer to have me stay close."

Leavitt sounds like he'll take his time with the decision. "I'll probably start looking around at the beginning of my senior year," said Leavitt. "I'll probably sign in the spring."

Leavitt is averaging around 16 points and 6 blocks a game this year.
