Two-Sport Star Faces Decision

It's tough enough to choose a school when you play one sport. For Casey Neimeyer, a baseball as well as basketball prospect, the choice is even more confusing...

Casey Neimeyer, 6-7 JR PF Woodland (Calif.) Woodland Christian, is not just a college prospect in basketball. Neimeyer is also a prospect in baseball, as a pitcher, as he's undecided about which sport he'll play in college.

"I haven't really decided between basketball and baseball," said Neimeyer. "I might play just one or maybe play both."

Neimeyer gave us a rundown on some of the schools that have been expressing interest in him as a basketball prospect. "Pepperdine, Colorado State and New Mexico – I hear from them all the time," said Neimeyer. "Minnesota and Texas Tech have also been showing interest."

Neimeyer said he has an idea about where he'd like to go to school. "I'd like to go to a West Coast school," said Neimeyer. "My Dad wants to see me play and that's a factor. I'm also looking for a good team environment."

Neimeyer told us that he has a 3.4 GPA and he's yet to take the SAT.
