Hogs Land The Big One
On Monday, Springfield (IL) Lanphier's Andre Iguodala committed to Arkansas over Kansas, Arizona and Boston College.
A representative at Lanphier confirmed the news and said that Iguodala would have a press conference on Nov. 14.
His addition to the Razorbacks is a significant one. Iguodala is clearly the best player in Arkansas' 2002 recruiting class. He has nearly as many intangible qualities as any other player in the country and he demonstrated improved offensive skills this summer when he led the Illinois Warriors to the a second-place finish at the Peach Jam and AAU National championship.
In the last few weeks, it looked as if Kansas had made great strides and then Arizona got a commitment from Hassan Adams who is essentially the same position player, which probably didn't help the Wildcats. However, Arkansas was that final trip and they did a terrific job with him all summer long.
