Another Berkshire Player Commits

Rolando DeLaBarrera (left), the head coach at Berkshire, says another one of his kids has made a commitment. This time, it's a big man with ties to Slovakia.

Olsovaky To Southern Utah

Lubor Olsovaky, a 6-10, 220 pounder from Homestead (FL) Berkshire is headed to Southern Utah.

"I think he's a high-major by the end of April," coach Rolando DeLaBarrera said. "Not that many people have seen him and Southern Utah is coming in and doing things quickly which is smart on their part. He could put up some nice numbers and have a college career."

We saw Lubor play once, last week at the Fall Fest, and he has good size and a penchant to play on the perimeter where he appears to be a decent shooter.

Olsovaky is from Slovakia. "This is his first year over here. He still has time to develop. He's a young kid and he's turning 18 in December. He has very good ball skills for a guy his size."
