On Wednesday, Anderson committed to Fordham University where he'll play a ton of point guard. His prep school coach, Kevin Keatts, has seen him grow into a starter for Hargrave Military.
"Coming into the year I had him tagged as a backup and 26 games later he was still starting for us. He's a winner.
"He was one of those hard nose guards. He started 26 games for us more in a combo role but at Fordham he's definitely going to be in a point guard situation. He's started all the way through high school and prep school. He's got a 3.0 and 1,100 SAT and he's an unbelievable kid."
Cleveland State and Akron came in late trying to lure the Ohio native back home.
"I think Dereck Whittenburg did an unbelievable job recruiting him. He had a chance to see him play and thought he had a chance to come in and do some things and help the program get in the right direction."
