D'Andre Bell, 6-5 JR SF Los Angeles (Calif.) Palisades, played very well this past weekend at the Border Wars Tournament in San Diego.

Bell's shot has really improved, but he also showed a very solid all-around game. Look for Bell to be ranked among the top small forwards in the west for 2005.

We spoke with Bell yesterday and asked him which schools have shown the most interest to date.

"Portland, Colorado State, Pepperdine and Iowa State have been the ones showing the most interest," said Bell."

When we asked if there are any schools he'd like to be hearing from, Bell said that he'd like to play at the highest level possible. "Really, any high major programs, I'd be interested," Bell said.

Bell said he'll likely make a decision at the end of the summer. He told us that he had a 3.0 GPA his last semester and he'll take the SAT in May or June.
