2005 Focus: Kashif Watson

C.J. Watson left Las Vegas to go play at Tennessee. Could his little brother Kashif be ready to leave the west to play elsewhere...?

We spoke with Kashif Watson, 6-2 JR SG Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman, at the Border Wars tournament in San Diego.

Asked about the programs currently expressing interest in him, Watson replied, "San Diego, Pacific, Kansas, Tennessee, Minnesota, Washington and Oregon State," said Watson.

Watson said he doesn't have a leader at the moment. "They're all about the same," said Watson.

Geography apparently won't play a role in Watson's choice. "Location doesn't matter," Watson said.

Watson said he'd like to make a quick decision. "As soon as possible," Watson said.

Watson told us he has a 2.7 GPA and he'll take the SAT next weekend.
