Alabama Select stud Richard Hendrix visits North Carolina the weekend of May 1st. Alabama and the Tar Heels could be dueling it out for Hendrix. In all likelihood, Hendrix will visit Alabama the weekend of May 14. … Georgia Stars small forward Octavious Spann said he's hearing from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Clemson and Louisville. …

Georgia Stars forward Jay Brown likes Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky and UConn. At this point, we don't think any of them have offered. … Georgia Stars power forward Daniel Emerson did not play much in the finals on Sunday. He's hearing from N.C. State, Marshall, Georgia and Mercer. "I want to go somewhere to play," Emerson said. "I'm not interested in sitting on the bench." …

Illinois Warriors sophomore Jon Scheyer is coached at the high school level by Bruce Weber's brother. He attends the same high school that Duke coach Chris Collins went to and supposedly his father and Ben Braun played high school baseball together. Those are some serious connections. Duke, UNC, Arizona, Kansas, Illinois, Wake Forest, Michigan State and California make the early list. …

In the Silver Division final, Richard Hendrix had 11 points and 6 rebounds for Alabama. Wisconsin Playground Warriors were led by Marcus Landry who tallied 13. …

Julian Wright of the Illinois Warriors was responsible for the most impressive athletic feat of the weekend. He actually caught a ball in traffic and went into a 360 move for a (missed) dunk off the catch. There wasn't another player in the event that could have pulled it off. …

Chris Douglas-Roberts of The Family is on the verge of taking his game to another level. However, at traveling team events, kids play a ton of games each weekend. Roberts needs to get stronger so that he can have more stamina throughout the event. …

Kevin Rogers of Team Texas boosted his stock significantly this weekend. When you make a pair of jump hooks over Richard Hendrix its tough not to note the skill level. … Team Texas guard Terrell Harris showed flashes of big time in his game. If he can do it consistently he'll make a serious rise in the rankings. …

Georgia Stars power forward Jay Brown actually dove to intercept a post pass. He also drove baseline for a dunk attempt. Brown could wind up going anywhere from mid-major to possibly high-major though he's slightly under sized. …

Angel Santiago of the Illinois Warriors had a nice weekend. Sometimes he'll take quick shots but he's good at getting to the rim. Santiago had 17 in the championship loss. … Richard Hendrix jammed his shoulder when he posted 25 points and 23 rebounds in his first game of the day. He's ratcheted his game up a few notches. …
