Fraser Lists His Schools In Order

As the final day of the early signing period nears, the basketball recruiting world awaits the decision of Jason Fraser. Now, the question isn't just where will he go, but will he even sign?

'Nova No. 1, Louisville No. 2

Early Monday evening, Amityville senior center Jason Fraser said that Villanova was his No. 1 choice and there was a No. 2 school.

"[Villanova] because of my relationship with coach Jay Wright," Fraser said when asked who leads. "They have a good class regardless of if I go or not."

Fraser said that Louisville is the No. 2 school right now with St. John's currently in line to get the bronze.

However, we caution the readers. Fraser is a fun, charismatic kid and we wouldn't be surprised if he were to go any of three ways with his decision. Sometimes, those New York guys like to throw curve balls to the media and even college coaches.

Last weekend, Fraser eliminated the Tar Heels. "They did nothing wrong," Fraser said. "I just lost the feeling for the school and I thought that I shouldn't waste their time."

All this talk of schools could be rendered meaningless should Fraser opt to wait until the spring to decide. However, the signing day could pass and he would still be able to make a commitment, but not sign the papers. Either way, this one could end tomorrow or it could last five more months.
