Hairston Decides On Wednesday

"I have a decision in my head," Malik Hairston said Monday night. The 6-6 winger out of Detroit Renaissance will share his thoughts Wednesday afternoon.

It's all over with Malik Hairston. Sort of.

The nation's top unsigned player will announce his college decision at a 4 pm Wednesday press conference at Detroit Renaissance.

"[Tuesday] I'm going to tell all the coaches but two," Hairston said. "I'm sure word will get around about what schools were eliminated."

Basically, Hairston is using the college basketball gossip line to let the country know which two schools are still in the running.

Hairston's final six schools are (in no particular order) Michigan, Ohio State, Kansas, Oklahoma, UCLA and Oregon.

"It was a struggle but there was a lot of thinking that went into the decision." Hairston said that his family members were torn between two schools but they were able to reach common ground with one program.

If you thought Julius Hodge was an excellent poker player when he whipped Maryland, NC State and Syracuse fans into a frenzy think again. Hairston would take Hodge's money in a high stakes game of Texas Hold ‘Em. His decision will truly carry an element of surprise.
