Headed To St. Bonaventure

Tyler Relph is resuming his college career in the state of New York. The former West Virginia point guard is transferring.

Anthony Solomon will welcome a new point guard into the program next season. Tyler Relph, a freshman, announced that he's leaving West Virginia and headed to St. Bonaventure. Relph has three years of eligibility after he sits out next season.

After looking at St. Joe's, Rhode Island, UMass and Xavier, Relph settled in on Solomon and his Bonnies program.

"I was looking at schools and I started talking to Coach Solomon and I started a great relationship with him and that's what I needed coming out of a transfer situation," Relph said.

"It was really the opportunity to come in and help a team that didn't do too well. I think he's going to get some kids and he's going to turn this thing around."

Relph was a standout at McQuaid Jesuit in New York as a high schooler.
