``I really didn't know as much about Alabama as people think I knew," said Hendrix, who is considered one of the elite players in the class. "A lot of people assumed since I live nearby that I knew everything about the school, but all I've gone down there for is to watch basketball and football games."
This time, Hendrix, who was hosted by Crimson Tide's Chuck Davis, got a chance to see the entire campus, meet the players and spend time with the coaching staff.
Now Hendrix has all the information he needs and intends to make a decision shortly. As for a timetable, there's nothing set in stone – other than the fact that he'll choose between the two schools prior to the start of his senior campaign.
``I think it'll be before then now that I've got all the info that I need," Hendrix admitted. "The two schools haven't made it easier. They were both great."
``I wouldn't say it's totally clear," he added. "But now that I've seen both, it's starting to clear up things. The main thing is that I need to talk to my family, make a decision and never look back."
Hendrix did admit that there are certain factors that will be critical in his decision-making process.
``I want to be around good people and that's the most important thing," he said. "People I can trust. Playing time is important, also, but I understand you have to work hard for that and it won't be given to you."
``The style of play and the way the program is looked at it also important," Hendrix said. "Exposure will play a factor, also."
