Bonnies Go South For Forward

St. Bonaventure went into Florida for its latest recruit. Anthony Solomon's bunch landed a forward out of West Palm Beach.

After accepting transfer forward Paul Williams (6-9, Jr.) from Siena, Anthony Solomon went to work on a high schooler in Florida.

This week, the Bonnies signed Michael Lee, a 6-8, 195 pounder out of Cardinal Newman in West Palm Beach, Fla.

"I just went for the best decision that fit me," Lee said. "Coach Solomon sold me that his program was family oriented and that I could come in and make an impact."

Last season, Lee averaged 23 points and 12 rebounds.

Lee is one of those young men whose versatility will play a factor in how much time he receives early.

"Really, I'm just a tall guy who can do a little of everything. I'm long and I can go to the basket and take outside shots. I'm a well rounded player."
