Illinois Fire wing Nate Minnoy will have a decision. He'll probably receive recruiting attention from both mid-major and high-major programs. Minnoy says that he really wants to play so he's looking for the right fit. Among the interested parties is Toledo, Purdue, Bowling Green and a host of MAC programs. …

Shawn Taggart, a 6-foot-10 power forward and would-be 5th year prep player, was outstanding for the NY Ravens on Sunday. Taggart, who once took an official visit to DePaul, will attend either IMG or Hargrave next season. … D.C. Assault power forward Jeff Green might attend Hargrave too but if he gets his test he'll be Georgetown-bound in the fall. Now, Green openly admits that if he doesn't get the score, he'll re-open his recruitment and listen to Syracuse, Maryland and Michigan State. Sounds like he's prep school bound to us but it's not over yet. He'll re-take the SAT next month. …

2006 point guard Willie Walker (Illinois Wolves) and Tory Jackson (Michigan Hurricanes) are already hearing from schools. Walker is getting interest from Baylor, Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. Jackson says Michigan State and California have sent letters. …

Speaking of Michigan State, former junior commitment Eric Devendorf still lists the Spartans. The Top 20 prospect, a 6-foot-3 guard, says the Spartans, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Syracuse, Florida and Louisville are in the mix. All have offered but UNC and he is not staying to visit any of the Triangle schools after the event. …

And finally, it's a little early but we'll let you know that Spiece Indy Heat freshman wing guard Eric Gordon already has offers from Indiana, Illinois and Arizona. Duke sent an assistant to see him this year too. …

There are no layups against Spiece with Greg Oden in the game. … A big part of the New Orleans Jazz run to the title game was the play of sophomore point guard D.J. Augustine. The guard's stroke returned to his game Sunday afternoon as he posted good numbers and gave the Jazz another scoring threat. …

Speaking of scoring threats, SRAP's Greg Paulus went high off the glass for a skilled leaner. That's a new part to his game. …
