Lowhorn Expects To Wait On Decision

Dior Lowhorn, a 6-5 junior power forward, had a nice showing this past weekend at the Pangos All-American Camp. Lowhorn told us that he might take his time when it comes to choosing a college...

Dior Lowhorn, a 6-5 junior power forward from Berkeley (Calif.) High, is the #6 ranked player at his position in the west for 2005. An explosive leaper, Lowhorn is a bit undersized at the four, but he plays with very good energy and he's developing a decent touch from the perimeter.

We spoke with Lowhorn at the Pangos tournament recently and asked him which schools have been expressing the most interest to date.

"Wisconsin, Kansas State, UCLA, USF, Washington and Oregon," said Lowhorn.

When we asked if any schools stand out from the pack, Lowhorn said, "Wisconsin, UCLA, Washington and Oregon. If I decide to leave the west, I'd probably choose Wisconsin."

Unlike most prospects, Lowhorn isn't necessarily looking to sign in the spring. "I want to take some trips after July," said Lowhorn. "And then make a decision maybe around December or January."

Lowhorn is awaiting results from an SAT test he took last Saturday.
