Gordon Says He's Got Four

Jamont Gordon is switching high schools. The former Nashville (Tenn.) Glencliff product is heading to Oak Hill. Gordon also weighed in on his current top four schools.

It's going to be an interesting summer for 6-foot-3 guard Jamont Gordon. After having an outstanding junior season for Nashville (Tenn.) Glencliff, Gordon has decided to spend his senior year at powerhouse Oak Hill Academy in Virginia.

Gordon will attend the NBA Players Association Camp and also the Nike All-American Camp. Shortly after that, it'll be off to Oak Hill for summer school.

The swingman understands the importance of a strong showing in the classroom this summer. "I'll have to work hard," Gordon said. "It's very important. I have to go up and do what I have to do to get my grades up so I can play in college.

"It was very hard because I'll leave my family behind. I'm going to miss my high school team. It was very hard. I'm going up there to meet new people."

On the recruiting front, Gordon sports a current list of four schools. Memphis, Texas, Tennessee and Alabama are the four he provided for listing this week.

"I just narrowed it down because of academics and playing my style of basketball. I like to play fast and get up and down the court."
