Devendorf Reveals Final Three

Eric Devendorf, the one-time Michigan State commit, still has the Spartans among his final three.

Eric Devendorf is down to three and his second decision will come at ABCD Camp.

The 6-3, 175-pound combo guard from Bay City Central (Mich.), who will attend Oak Hill Academy (Va.) for his senior season, has narrowed the list to Michigan State, Syracuse and Florida.

Devendorf visited Florida on an official trip a couple weeks back and just returned from an unofficial visit to Syracuse.

``They were two different visits," he said. "Florida is more of a college town. I love their program and their style of play. Their staff is real nice and Anthony Roberson is a good friend of mine who lives 10 minutes away."

``Syracuse was great," he added. "I like the city environment. It's pretty big. I get along with the coaches and really like Coach (Mike) Hopkins. He knows what it's like because he played there. I got a chance to play with Hakim Warrick and Louis McCroskey."

``I've had a relationship with Michigan State forever," he continued." I know everything about their program."

Now Devendorf will head to NBA Players Association Camp, the USA Developmental Festival and then take a couple of weeks to mull over his decision before making the announcement in New Jersey.

``I'm going to Oak Hill, so I want to get this over with in the summer so I can just concentrate on getting better," Devendorf said.
