Adam Zahn, 6-7 PF Redondo Beach (Calif.) Redondo Union, had some offers in the fall, but he's decided to wait until spring to see what other options may emerge.

Adam told us recently that San Diego St., Pepperdine and USC are the three schools showing the most interest right now. "I'd like to compare them with others that may come in the spring," Adam said. "I'm open to leaving the west."

Adam said the coaching staff will play a major role in his decision. "I want a staff that's willing to make me the best player possible," Adam said. "And education will be important -- if I'm going to get a free education, it might as well be a good one."

Playing time is not his primary concern. "Playing time early isn't that important. I want to play in a big league if possible, but I also want a chance to play at some point."
