Wendell White, 6-4 JR SG Redondo Beach (Calif.) Redondo Union, is a big guard in the mold of a Mitch Richmond. Strong and explosive leaper, Wendell can also drain threes with regularity. He needs work on his ability to create his own shot, but there's no question he'll receive interest at the high major level.

We spoke with Wendell recently and he told us that Tennessee is showing him the most interest at this point. In addition to the Volunteers, USC and UCLA are at the top of his list.

Wendell told us that UCLA was his dream school growing up. "Ed O'Bannon, Baron Davis, Toby Bailey -- I watched all those guys growing up," Wendell said. "Playing with Dijon again would also be nice, if I go there."

Staying close to home could also be a factor for Wendell. "I might want to stay close," Wendell said.

Asked if he sees himself making an early commitment, Wendell replied, "I think I want to wait and take my trips."
