Joe Darger, 6-6 senior wing, Riverton (Utah) High, has a clear favorite to get his signed National Letter of Intent.

"UNLV," Darger said. "They're my favorite right now. I think they have a really good coaching staff, and I just feel good about it. It makes the most sense to me. Unless something changes, they're definitely my leader."

Darger said that Utah State, Colorado State and BYU are the other schools still on his list. "I've narrowed it down to those four," he said.

The smooth-shooting wing could very well commit before taking any official visits. "I could make a decision pretty soon. I want to do it by September, maybe before. I might take visits before, but it just depends on my schedule and how things go. I don't have to take official visits before I decide."

Darger is on his way to qualifying academically, saying he has a 3.5 GPA and a 18 on the ACT.
