The Price is Right

Kendric Price already has two official visits set in stone - including one to his leader. He's got two more that are tentative.

Kendric Price's stock was at an all-time high entering this past spring, but then it took a hit before soaring again in July.

The 6-8, 185, pound senior has a wide array of schools on his list – and the Buckingham Brown and Nichols (Mass.) forward has already set up a few official visits.

Price will definitely take a visit to Vanderbilt, his current leader, on Sept. 18 and will take a trip to Ann Arbor, Mich., to visit Tommy Amaker and the Wolverines the following weekend.

Tentative trips to both Purdue (Sept. 11) and Syracuse (Oct. 2) have also been set up, but he hasn't confirmed them with his mother yet – so they aren't set in stone.

``Syracuse offered after Las Vegas, but the big one for me was Vanderbilt," said Price, who will look for a combination of basketball and academics after posting an 1120 on his SAT.

Price is a terrific outside shooter whose aggressiveness has been questioned at times, especially because the level of competition he plays against at BB&N isn't all that difficult. However, Price played well for the New England Playaz in July and increased his value to college coaches.

Price said that one of the reasons why he'll take his visit to Michigan is because of good friend and Massachusetts native, Courtney Sims, who will enter his sophomore season for the Wolverines.

Price also mentioned that Ohio State has begun to show recent interest – and he'll do some more homework on Thad Matta and the Buckeyes before setting up his final official visit.
