The 6-4 senior shooting guard, who hails from Canada, recently took a five-day whirlwind tour of Michigan State, N.C. State, Ohio State and Virginia that gave him more clarity into the recruiting process.
``I haven't committed yet, but I'm hoping to do it sometime this week," Joseph said.
Joseph said he enjoyed all the visits, but that the one to Tom Izzo's program stuck out the most in his mind – especially because the Spartans were the leader entering the mini-tour.
``I got a chance to play with the guys and scrimmage with them," Joseph added of MSU. "I hung out with them and got a chance to know them better. I really like the atmosphere."
Joseph said similar things about N.C. State, which falls second at this point. However, the major difference between the two visits was that almost all of the Wolfpack players were on break after summer classes ended.
``It was hard because I didn't really get a chance to meet any of their guys," Joseph said. "But the visit was nice. I have a real good relationship with Coach (Mark) Phelps and Coach (Herb) Sendek. They've been recruiting me for a while and I'm very comfortable with those guys."
Joseph will sit down tonight and talk with his high school coach, Champlain St. Lambert's John Deangelas, and also his mother, and could arrive at a decision as soon as tonight.
``If I'm comfortable with it, I'll make the decision," he added. "If I don't feel 100 percent, I will wait. But I think I'm pretty comfortable right now."
