Heath to San Diego State

Brandon Heath, probably the most highly ranked player left uncommitted after the fall signing period, ended the suspense by making his verbal commitment recently...

Brandon Heath, 6-2 SR SG, Los Angeles (Calif.) Westchester, verbally committed to San Diego State.

Heath, who had not committed earlier due to academic limitations, signed a National Letter of Intent on November 20th and San Diego State has until December 11th to submit it to the NCAA.

Heath took a trip to San Diego State two weekends ago. Heath was impressed, and cited the proximity to home and the resume of San Diego State's Head Coach Steve Fisher as factors in his decision.
