On Campus: Weekend Visitors

Football season is upon us and that can only mean one thing: official basketball visit weekends. That's right, this weekend is the unofficial beginning of a very important time of the year. Just ask schools like Georgia Tech, Illinois and Kansas how big this weekend is.

Julian Wright is the highest rated player that we confirmed to be making an official visit this weekend. The No. 5 prospect in America sets in motion his plan to make three visits by kicking off the festivities with a trip to Illinois.

Down at Georgia Tech, committed center Alade Aminu can help the Yellow Jackets in their quest for Lewis Clinch, one of the summer's highest-rising guards. Both get to spend the weekend in Atlanta hanging out with the Final Four Jackets.

The much anticipated visit of C.J. Miles to Kansas finally takes place this weekend. Miles is a piece of the puzzle that could help the Jayhawks stake a claim to the nation's No. 1 class.

Here's a brief rundown of who we've uncovered on campus this weekend. Note the unofficial visit of heavyweight Richard Hendrix to Alabama. Surely that will be one to keep an eye on as the Tide looks to seal the deal and continue a weeklong hot streak.
