The 6-8, 185-pound former Cardinal Dougherty (Pa.) star, who is spending this season at Hargrave Military Academy (Va.), has re-opened his recruitment after committing to Villanova less than a year ago.
``I have decided to take a couple visits in the fall," Clark said. "Villanova is on a short list that also includes Florida and Maryland. Before I sign, I just want to feel confident about my previous verbal commitment to Villanova."
Clark (No. 46, The Insiders.com) is a big-time player who actually committed shortly before his best friend, Kyle Lowry, pledged to Jay Wright's program.
``He just felt like he wanted to take a couple of visits because he felt like he committed too soon," Cardinal Dougherty assistant coach Dave Distol said.
Clark is a versatile offensive player whose major weakness is strength.
``When we first got him, as a freshman, you could see his potential," Distol added. "He had unpolished skills. He's grown so much as a player. He does so well in the in-between game and shoots the 15-footer better than anyone I've seen. He can take people off the dribble, finishes and also shoot the three."
