Julian Wright Adds School

Julian Wright has no problems with his three finalists, but the 6-8 Illinois native has opted to add a fourth school to the mix.

Julian Wright has been down to three schools for a while and while most elite players are knocking schools off their list, the versatile 6-foot-8 forward is adding them.

Wright, who has been considering Arizona, Illinois and DePaul for several months, will host Kansas for an in-home visit on Sept. 9 and the meeting could translate into scheduling an official visit to Lawrence, Kansas.

``I decided to add them and put them in the mix," Wright said. "They aren't completely in the mix, but they are in the top four and will come in for an in-home visit and we'll see how that goes."

Wright is coming off his first official visit, to Illinois, this past weekend.

``I had a good time and was able to see how much their players liked each other," Wright said.

He'll visit Arizona this weekend and then will take a week off before heading to nearby DePaul.

``I honestly don't have a leader right now," Wright said. "I'm not going to make my decision until October."

Wright had previously said that Arizona was his leader, primarily because of the up-and-down style of play that Lute Olson employs. However, he told TheInsiders.com last week that it's basically a three-way dead heat heading into the visits.
