On Campus: Weekend Visitors

The second weekend for official visits is upon us. Highlighting the festivities is a pivotal trip for the Tennessee Volunteers and the second consecutive visit for Julian Wright.

The Tennessee Volunteers have been waiting a long time for this weekend. Tyler Smith, an important in-state prospect, visits Knoxville this weekend. Smith, a Top 50 player, is one of those guys that Buzz Peterson would love to lock up while on his trip.

The second chapter in the saga of Julian Wright gets written this weekend. Wright was at Illinois last weekend and heads West to Arizona for a weekend with the Wildcats.

Numerous schools have multiple visitors, weather permitting.

While our focus has been on the seniors, the most impressive collection of talent on any campus this weekend by far, is at Ohio State. Thad Matta's crew managed to talk Greg Oden, Daequan Cook, Mike Conley, David Lighty and Richard Semrau on campus. When you add up the numbers, four of our Top 25 juniors are in Columbus this weekend.
