"Probably Georgia Tech leads right now but I don't know what I'll do," Thomas said. "I'll do these home visits, see a few schools and then make my decision."
Miami, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and UCLA are coming into his house, in addition to Georgia Tech. The lone mid-major worth mentioning at this point is Tennessee-Chattanooga which is hanging in there but not looking like a serious contender.
The biggest question that Thomas could have on his visits will be how he fits in. Not nearly big enough to be a full-time power forward on the high-major level and not possessing the complete skill set of a small forward, Thomas is cut from the P.J. Tucker body type.
"They think that with their individual improvement that I'll be a full blown wing," Thomas said of the schools recruiting him. "Some schools say they'll start me off at the four and then bring me to the wing later on. With their workout program they think I'll be a full blown out wing by the time the season starts."
