2006 West Coast Rankings: Shooting Guards

The 2006 West Coast shooting guards include such players as Andre Martin, Derrick Jasper and Matt Bouldin, among others...

The 2006 shooting guards in the west look to be fairly solid, with a number of mid to high major prospects in the group. Jasper is the top-rated prospect at this point. He's got a good frame, above average skills and good, but not great, athleticism. He plays well within a team concept and has a nice feel for the game. Willis is a big-time scorer who can get his own shot. He can shoot off the bounce or catch, with the ability to get to the basket. Martin is one of the elite athletes in the class. He's terrific in the open court and slashing off the wing. He has a chance to be a lockdown defender. Decasas has a great feel for the game and he's very versatile. He'll knock down open shots, passes well and has some toughness. Bouldin is another player with nice instincts. He's got a good-looking stroke and sees the court very well.
