Sean McCurdy Headed South

Sean McCurdy admittedly didn't play all that well in July at the ABCD Camp, but a few schools stuck with him - and one came out the winner.

Sean McCurdy is headed south.

The St. Anthony's (N.J.) 6-1 senior combo guard committed to Arkansas on Friday afternoon, according to sources close to the Razorbacks program.

McCurdy, who was also interested in UMass and Rhode Island, saw his stock fall in July at the ABCD Camp.

However, McCurdy is much better than he displayed at the camp - and he played well enough when Arkansas coach Stan Heath and his staff were watching to earn an offer.

McCurdy averaged 13 points per game this past season while playing out of position at the small forward spot for 30-0 St. Anthony's last season.
