Bell: I Could See Myself at Georgetown

D'Andre Bell, a 6-4 senior wing from Los Angeles, took an official trip to Georgetown last week. He gives us an update on where he's at in his recruitment...

D'Andre Bell, 6-4 SR SG Los Angeles (Calif.) Palisades, played this past weekend at the Fullcourt Press Fall Hoops Classic. We spent a few minutes with him Friday night and asked him about his recent trip to Georgetown.

"It went really well -- better than I expected," said Bell. "I had a good time. I could see myself playing in that program. It's someplace that I could help contribute and help bring the program back up.

Bell went on to say, "I like the staff a lot and I felt like I really fit in well with the players they have."

We asked Bell about other schools still in the mix.

"I've got an official visit to Georgia Tech next weekend (the 24th)," said Bell. "Then I have a visit to Michigan State for Midnight Madness on October 15th."

We asked Bell if he thought he would be ready to make a decision after his trip to Michigan State and he replied, "I'm not sure. Arizona has been calling also and I want to see if anything comes of that."

UCLA is also involved with Bell and he's been to Westwood for an unofficial visit. We asked if he planned on taking an official visit and Bell said, "I don't have anything set up with them."
