D'Andre Bell Makes His Pick

D'Andre Bell, an excellent student-athlete from California, is heading to ACC country. After his official visit, Bell decided to end his recruitment.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets now have three commitments from the Class of 2005. Joining center Alade Aminu and guard Lewis Clinch, is 6-foot-5 wing D'Andre Bell.

Bell, a senior out of Pacific Palisades (Calif.) Palisades Charter, committed to Jackets just a few days after his visit. Georgetown and UCLA finished in Bell's Top 3.

"I think Georgia Tech is going to be ideal for him," Rock Johnson, head coach of the I-Can All-Stars said. "The style of play is going to be awesome."

Apparently so was the visit.

According to Johnson, the entire Bell Family was blown away from D'Andre's official visit to Atlanta.

"It was [unbelievable]. I've been around, but let me tell you something, it was awesome. From the facilities to the staff to the people, it was ideal. As far as the academics, their standards and the level they hold … the family was truly impressed."
