Harangody has been to each school on his list, except for Ohio State where he'll visit on Oct. 30 of this month. Notre Dame did a nice job with him. "Basketball wise, I liked their facilities a lot," Harangody said.
The center/power forward averaged 21 points and 14 rebounds in a brief junior season. Half of the year he was on the shelf with a stress fracture in his back.
Harangody attended the Nike Hoop Jamboree last June and said he's doing much better than he was last season. "They said it was just from wear and tear and growing a lot. Still rehabbing right now."
The big man is thinking about next spring when his recruitment will likely escalate. "I'll play the season right now and I might take some official visits in the spring and see how I feel. I'd like to stay in the Midwest."
Harangody has a brother who is going to play football at Indiana next season and his father also laced them up on the gridiron for the Hoosiers.
