Forward Headed To SEC

Josh Dollard, a forward out of South Carolina, will play his college buckets in the SEC. On Wednesday, Dollard picked his school.

Last weekend, Pickens (S.C) Prince Avenue Prep combo forward Josh Dollard visited Virginia Tech. This week, he committed to the Auburn Tigers.

"I think he might have the opportunity to come in and play a lot early; even compete for a starting spot," S.C. Ravens coach Dion Bethea said. "Joey Cameron just switched his decision so you can see they're trying to build on something down there."

Dollard is a 5th year standout who played high school basketball in South Carolina last year. He was recruited at the high-major level for his skills both on the perimeter and in the paint. He's a strong bodied kid whom we can see playing early in his career at Auburn.

"To be 6-foot-8 and play on the perimeter and shoot the ball is good," Bethea said. "Plus, I think he defends really well."
