Sean Marshall, 6-5 JR SF Rialto (Calif.) Eisenhower, has a solid all-around game and he's drawing interest from a number of high major schools.
We spoke with Sean recently in San Diego and he told us that Oregon St., New Mexico, USC, UConn, UCLA and Stanford have all expressed interest so far. Oregon St. and New Mexico came out in the fall to watch Sean practice with his high school team.
Sean said Georgetown was his favorite school growing up. "I liked their coach," Sean said. "But he's not there anymore."
We asked if he had any attachment to the west coast and Sean replied, "No, I'll go play anywhere. The school, education and coaches will be what I'm looking at."
Sean told us that early playing time will be an issue for him. "I want to be able to play as a freshman."
When we asked about the timing of his decision, Sean said, "I want to take some trips, but I also want to decide early."
Sean told us that he has a 3.3 GPA and scored 880 on his first attempt at the SAT.
