Commitment Rewind

In case you missed it, there have been quite a few commitments in the past few days. Let's play catch-up in this commitment rewind.

The James Madison Dukes did well for themselves this week. Dean Keener, the first-year head coach in Harrisonburg, has done well for his program on the recruiting trail this year and things got even better this week.

Paul Gause, the high-scoring guard out of New Jersey who was instrumental in the success of the New Jersey All-Stars this summer, picked the Dukes. The Pittsgrove (N.J.) Schalick guard is capable of going for big numbers. Last season, he set a school record with a 52-point effort in February.

The Middle Tennessee State Raiders put together an excellent class and this week they ventured to the school of current NBA player Jonathan Bender and received a commitment from a senior power forward.

Donaries Hair, a 6-foot-7 prospect from Picayune (Miss.) High committed to the Raiders. He joins guard Kevin Kanaskie and guard Darrin Avery who previously committed.

Buzz Peterson's troops from Tennessee received a commitment this week from a forward. Tennessee Travelers standout Matthew Dotson committed to the Vols shortly after visiting.

Dotson is a 6-foot-8 big man out of Centerville (Tenn.) Hickman.

And finally, down in Chattanooga, Mocs head coach John Shulman landed another prospect. Khalil Hartwell, a 6-foot-8 forward from Philadelphia Lutheran is in the fold. Hartwell visited campus four days ago and took little time in reaching his decision.
