Grant To Make Decision Public This Week
The weather might have been a little un-North Carolina like and the Tar Heels struggled against Wake Forest, but sources confirmed with TheInsidersHoops.com that it was enough to convince Damion Grant to rule in favor of the Tar Heels.
Grant himself said he's made a decision. "Yes, I have. But, I'm not going to make it public yet. I still have to speak to my parents and I'll let them know about my decision before anyone else."
Grants parents reside in Jamaica. He returns to Brewster Academy on Monday. He said that he'd probably formally announce his intentions on Wednesday.
Grant's final two schools were North Carolina and Seton Hall. He spoke with the Pirates just before he left for Chapel Hill late last week. He also visited LaSalle and UMass.
As for the visit to UNC, well it went off without a hitch. "It was good," Grant said. "The students weren't on campus so I didn't get to see much of the campus life. My girlfriend goes there and she told me about the campus."
