Nate Carter, 6-6 SF San Diego (Calif.) Horizon, drew some interest from a few schools this past fall but decided to wait until spring before making a decision.

We spoke with Nate in Las Vegas at the Powerade Holiday Prep Classic and he told us that he's been hearing from Arizona St., Seton Hall, Nevada, UCLA and Oregon.

Right now, Nevada is the one school from that group that seems to be serious. Nate told us that he recently took a trip to the Nevada campus and he was impressed. "It's a nice school -- I had a good time," Carter said.

We asked if he thought he'd be making a decision anytime soon and Carter replied, "No, I'm not close to making a decision."

Carter is fully qualified and told us that he scored 1060 on the SAT.
