Miller Attracting Interest

Earl Miller wants to win a state championship this year at Sanford. However, it won't be his final game of organized basketball if he does. Miller is a spring candidate for a Division I hoops grant.

Miller Has Five Visits Remaining

Last year, the quarterback of Stan Waterman's Delaware powerhouse, Sanford School, was a second-team all-stater. This year, he's tossing in close to 20 points a game for Waterman.

He's a likely low-major signee and who is close to achieving a qualifying score on the SAT. He'll retake the test again Jan. 22.

"I've been talking to Siena and St. Francis (PA) and Towson called me too," Miller said. "My coach told me Wichita State and Binghamton are also interested."

St. Francis and Siena came to his game last Friday. The Saints may offer him a grant.

However, Miller has all five of his official visits remaining and presently doesn't have any visits set up.
