David Foster, 6-11 JR C Lake Forest (Calif.) El Toro, is an intriguing young big man who has not yet grown into his body. His offensive skills are not yet refined, but he can impact a high school game just because of his size. With continued development, he has a chance to play at the next level.

We spoke with Foster after a recent game and asked him about the schools that have been contacting him.

"BYU, Stanford, Oklahoma State and Colorado State -- those are the main ones," said Foster.

Foster talked about some of the issues he'll consider when choosing a school. "Since I'm Mormon, I'd like somewhere with a good religion course. A good academic school," said Foster.

We asked about the issue of location and he replied, "I don't mind going away. I have family in Utah."

When asked if he has a favorite at this time. "Probably BYU," said Foster.

Foster said he'll probably go to college for one year, then go on his two-year mission. He told us he has a 3.0 GPA and he'll take the SAT in the spring.
