Jawan Carter is a big-time scorer who can also get his teammates involved. It didn't take him long to break the school scoring mark.
still has a year and a half to go, but he's already broken the Tatnall High (Del.) school record for career points.
The 5-11, 175-pound junior guard scored 17 points and had 10 assists in a recent victory against Duke-bound Eric Boateng and his St. Andrew's squad to set the mark.
Carter now has 1,362 career points and is averaging a state-high 26.3 points per game. He put up 26 in a win against Friends earlier this week.
Carter said that Clemson, Vanderbilt, DePaul, Georgetown, St. Joseph's and Villanova have all seen him play this season – and Wake Forest came to a practice.
Carter has taken unofficials to Maryland, for the Terps game against Florida State, and to Georgetown, when the Hoyas played UConn.
Carter said he's wide open, but has offers from Georgetown, St. Joe's and Villanova.
``I'm just looking for a dream situation," Carter said. "Something that benefits me the most."
