"Certainly he explored all of his options," Hargrave coach Kevin Keatts said. "He took the visit early in the year and was very impressed. They always said that they played three guards and saw that he was able to fit in at the one, two and three [spots]."
Xavier and St. Joe's offered. Visits were taken to Villanova and Penn State. Wake Forest, Florida and Baylor came in late and checked him out. However, Villanova won the marathon and he'll now join Frank Tchulsi, Dante Cunningham and Dwayne Anderson in Jay Wright's blossoming recruiting class.
"You can make an argument that he's been one of our most valuable players," Keatts said. "He fills the stat sheet and he's one of those jack of all trade guys."
Hargrave laces them up against Laurinburg Prep Friday night in North Carolina as the title of best prep school team in America is on the line.
