Clemons To Reschedule Visits

Ricky Clemons, one of the fastest rising junior college guards, took a visit early in the week but didn't make a scheduled weekend excursion.

Clemons Will Reschedule Visit

The weekend was supposed to begin a five-day excursion for Southern Idaho point guard Ricky Clemons. The 5-11 Clemons had visits scheduled with both Missouri and Louisville, with the Tigers trip set to begin Feb. 15.

However, Clemons had to stay back in Twin Falls to catch up on some schoolwork and will not make either visit. According to Southern Idaho assistant Jay Cyriac, who was spotted courtside at Oak Hill Academy Thursday evening, both visits to Louisville and Missouri will be rescheduled. Could Southern Idaho be the team to beat if Oak Hill's Sani Ibrahim opts to attend junior college? Or was Cyriac simply watching Bonner Academy forward EJ Drayton?

Back to Clemons. The North Carolina native did visit San Diego State earlier in the week. In addition to SDSU, Missouri and Louisville, Texas A&M is interested.

Memphis and Arizona could have roster spots open should Dajaun Wagner or Jason Gardner leave early for the NBA. In both cases, the schools have made contact in case they lose players from their rosters. However, the teams to beat remain Missouri, Louisville and San Diego State.
