The 6-foot-2, 170-pound rising junior runs the show for a loaded St. John Neumann-Goretti (Pa.) team and will also control the tempo with many of his high school teammates on the Hunting Park Warriors this spring and summer.
Jardine (No. 29, Scout.com) will get going this weekend at the Charlie Weber tournament in Washington, D.C., in an attempt to solidify his status as one of the premiere floor leaders in the Class of 2007.
``I still need to get better at making decisions and also get stronger before I get to the next level," Jardine said.
``The mental aspect of the game is coming along well," Hunting Park Warriors coach Greg Wright said. "Much better than I anticipated."
``You can't teach his instincts for the game," Wright added. "He's a real good kid who does exactly what you wants and he's a relentless worker. We knew he could shoot, but he's also a great passer. He has a terrific ability to recognize what's going on out there."
``My favorite is definitely one of those two," Jardine said.
Jardine also mentioned UConn and Syracuse.
